Aunty Christine was a steady presence, someone who made the world feel more familiar and a little less heavy, just by being there. I remember those long walks from Sinfin to Allenton as a child, past the quiet pylons stretching across the sky. She gave those walks warmth, turning ordinary paths into shared journeys. Her companionship made the distance feel shorter, the air kinder, and the day a bit brighter. Her memory lingers like that open path, calm and enduring. Lots of Love David

I’d just like to share a few fond memories of my dear beloved sister Chris.
Chris was my big sister and I looked up to her with the upmost respect, she took me under her wing after we lost our mum and then shortly after our dad. I was young and a little naive and completely lost. She told me I had got to move into her house because she was concerned for my future and told me she’d discussed it with Ken and it would be for the best. I really don’t know what would have become of me without her guidance, you see Chris was more than just a big sister to me she was my mentor and put me on the right track. I will miss her very much and remember her dearly. Rest in peace my beautiful big sister Christine x

Reading all the messages and memories has made me realise just how lucky I was to have you in my life.

You were a huge role model to me growing up, and there wasn’t a day that went by without seeing you.

Some of my favourite memories will always be our holidays in Great Yarmouth. You could guarantee that a couple of days into the holiday, one of Uncle Ken’s cars would pull up outside our caravan. I loved every minute of it… right up until the tinned burgers appeared and I knew I wasn’t leaving the table until my plate was empty. Thankfully, my secret weapon was the dog. 1-0 Wayne. Although, secretly, I think you always knew.

Then there were the Saturday trips to ASDA, dropping you and mum at bingo on Sunday evenings, and the time I ran away from home only for you to tell me I could stay at yours before promptly grassing me up to my dad and sending me home.

Even when I moved to Skegness, the memories never stopped. You and Uncle Ken would visit on bank holidays and our annual birthday BBQs became a tradition.

The time you moved over and lived with us for a while.

When I met Sharon, you made her feel welcome from day one, and when Jake came along, you had a knack at getting him to sleep when nobody else could. That calm and caring nature never changed, and all three of my boys were lucky enough to experience it.

The memories are endless, and every single one of them is precious.

You were always there whenever anyone needed you, and that’s why you’ll never be forgotten.

Thank you for everything. Love you forever❤️
