ChristineWHITTAKERMrs Christine Whittaker, of Cherry Crescent, Rawtenstall, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday, August 15, aged 71. Christine worked at Tup Bridge at Starline. She married her husband John in 1982. She loved reading, and watching dramas - solving crime. She leaves her husband John, stepdaughter Pamela, son-in-law Adrian, grandson Daniel, and brother-in-law Alan. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 30, with a service at James Street Chapel of Rest at 10.30am, followed by committal at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers; donations to Rossendale Hospice can be made at www.fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Service, Rawtenstall.
