John HoraceWICKSTEADOn Thursday, 21st July 2022, John, known as Peter, of Stoke-Sub-Hamdon and formerly of Shillingford, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at home, aged 97 years. Born in Plaistow, East London, on 5th March 1925. After being awarded his undergraduate and Doctoral degrees by University College London, he became a world-renowned Marine Biologist. Devoted husband of the late Mary, loving father of Myles and Annette, proud grandfather of Edward, Kathryn and Jasmine. A private interment will take place at Rockwell Green Cemetery, Wellington.
