RoyWIGGLESWORTHof Didsbury and Chorlton. Peacefully on 6th August 2022 aged 88. Much loved husband of the late Betty, beloved son of the late George and Joan Wigglesworth and special elder brother of the late John. A wonderful and loving dad to his four daughters, Lynn, Lesley, Debbie and Karen and respected Father-in-Law of Dave and Paul. He leaves treasured, happy memories for his Grandchildren, Oliver and Angela, Alex and Carla, William, Sam, Louis, Anna, Connie and their partners and for his Great Grandchildren, Lola, Theo, Joseph, Otto and Jack. Roy was a cherished Uncle, Cousin and friend to many especially his life long friend Jack Bamber. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Anthony Foster, to Dad's neighbours and to Louise for their help and kindness over the years, to all the GPs at Didsbury Medical Centre, to Tina Foley (his MacMillan Nurse), the team at St Ann's Hospice and to his carers from Grace 24. Roy's cheerful and happy manner will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. The funeral is at Manchester Crematorium on Friday 26th August at 2pm.
