Dearly loved dad of Stacey, Victoria and Laurence and adored bampy of Cohen. Deeply missed by Denise. He will be sorely missed by all. Funeral service to be held at St Barnabas Church, Gloucester on Friday 10th August at 12 noon followed by burial at Gloucester Cemetery, Coney Hill. Flowers may be sent c/o Selim Smith and Co Funeral Directors, Heron Lodge Funeral Home, Painswick Road, Gloucester GL4 4QJ Burnley rule ok!

I never got to meet you, which upsets me. I wish I did. Laur always says how much of an amazing dad you were and I just wanted to reassure you that I'll take good care of him. Oh, and thankyou for the chocolates I never got to thankyou for myself, even though your lovely son ate them all and I didn't even get one!


I know your very sadly missed by every single person who knew you! Also by me. You'll never be forgotten.


I just thankyou for making your son the man he is today.


I'll have a John smiths for ya!

I love you Dad,


I'm sorry I never said it very often, it wasn't because I wasn't thinking it. I just found it difficult to say.


I'm listening to "your" Morrissey track. Made me think of you, and of the time we went to see him live in Birmingham. With the biker incident in the seat behind us.


Won't ever forget memories like that.


Thanks for being there for me, every time - when times were rough. I was always able turn to you.
