I first met Ian when my husband Rick and I were posted to Londonderry. Ian and Rick were both photographers and keen golfers. We spent many Sundays in each other's houses. Eating huge dinners and doing the Sunday Observer crossword. Ian became a good friend to both Rick and I when ever we met or spoke on the phone it was as if we had never been away. He was alway a kind selfless man who you could always depend on. I will miss you Ian you will always have a place in my heart.

Top bloke. A popular chap at Lincolnshire Airsoft Club who kept players amused with stories and was quick to offer help whenever he could.

The club has lost a great player never deterred by the fact he was in a mobility scooter and we also lost a friend.

You can stand down now dude. Your tour is done and we will soon all meet again.

Ian Lawrence and all the guys from Lincolnshire Airsoft Club.
