Robert RaymondWILLIAMS F.C.A.Passed away peacefully at home on 17th March 2023, aged 92 years. Ray was the beloved husband of Marian, loving Father of Martin, Rachel, Ivor and Christopher, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Ray was a Chartered Accountant in White Friars, Chester for 40 years. He was always generous with his time and was an Alderman on the former Chester City Council and served 11 years until re-organisation in 1974. He was a member of many organisations in Chester and will be sadly missed. Ray was always proud to have been a Cestrian'. Funeral service with take place at the Church of St Mary Without-the-Walls, Handbridge on Friday 14th April 2023 at 11am, followed by a private committal. Family flowers only but donations in Ray's memory will be forwarded to the British Heart Foundation and may be made via the Funeral Director. Ray was a lovely man. I remember with fondness his anecdotes, our interesting conversations and the warm welcome he and Marian always afforded me and Blossom. My deepest sympathies to Marian and family.
