PeterWILLIAMSof Wellington Court, Accrington, passed away on Sunday, January 19, at home, aged 74. He was a security guard when he retired. A keen supporter of Burnley Football Club, he socialised in the Pop Club in Accrington. He leaves niece Julie and nephew Andrew, together with long-term partner Linda and step-son Richard. A funeral service was held at 10am on Saturday, February 15, at Baxenden St John's Church, administered by Reverend Tom Donaghey, followed by burial at Baxenden St John, Church Avenue, Baxenden. Family flowers only please, however donations if desired, requested to Cancer Research UK. Funeral director: Kirby and Hughes Funeral Directors, 229, Blackburn Road, Accrington.
