David Phillip DpWILLIAMSWILLIAMS - DAVID PHILLIP (D.P.), On 30th April 2020. At St David's Hospice, Llandudno we sadly announce the death of David of Abbey Road, Rhos On Sea, formerly of Llandudno Junction aged 71. Beloved husband and best friend of Christine, treasured father of Carole and son-in-law Aled and most wonderful taid to Thomas, Megan and Dylan. Son of the late Ivor and Norah Williams of Penrhos Avenue, Llandudno Junction, brother to John Williams and the late Beryl Buckley. David will be sadly missed by all his family, his wide circle of friends and ex-colleagues across North Wales Jobcentre Department and the Credit Union. During his long working career he helped many people. David was also a member of various societies in the area. David was a proud Welshman who loved Wales, our beautiful mountains and scenery. He loved his steam trains, trains and all types of travel. Sincere thanks to all the staff at Llys Meddyg Surgery in Conwy, the Llandudno District Nurses Team and all the staff at St David's Hospice in Llandudno for their wonderful and dedicated care of David over the last few weeks. Due to the current circumstances we cannot give David the send off he deserves so it will be a private funeral at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Thursday 7th May. A live webcast of David's funeral will be available at www.obitus.com using the username colwyn4031 and password 268376 Service Viewing Time 11:40am - 12:20pm. David will be leaving Lamberts at 11.15am and will proceed through Llandudno Junction if anyone wishes to pay their respects. When we are able a memorial service will follow to celebrate David's life. No flowers please, donations in memory of David if so desired towards St David's Hospice c/o A C Lambert & Son, Funeral Directors, 69, Conwy Road, Llandudno Junction, LL31 9LT. David's favourite colour was blue so on Thursday 7th May please wear something blue and at 11.45 have a glass or cup of whatever you like the best to honour the most wonderful man who will be sadly missed.

Sending Christine and Carole all our love at this very sad time. I knew Dave or DP as we knew him for over 35years. He was the best boss, colleague and friend to many who worked with him. I’ll treasure all the happy memories of those times working with him in Colwyn Bay Jobcentre as will many others. Rest in peace DP we’ll all miss you , Lynne x

We are very sad to learn that David has passed away. We have know him for may years and always liked him and got on well with him.
