AlmaWILLIAMSPassed away surrounded by family at Torr Nursing Home on Friday 29th July 2022, aged 91 years. Dearly loved mother to Alma & David and treasured grandmother to Christopher, Sian & Robert. Funeral Service to take place at Efford Crematorium on Monday 22nd August at 11:30am. Flowers welcome or donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for Cancer Research UK. Alma was a dear cousin to my mum Vera. We would visit en route to the south of England and call ro see her and Nobby. Alma's mother Nellie was the eldest child of James and Dinah Parsons. There were siblings James, Frank, Florence, May (my grandmother) Lent, Hilda and Agnes (always known as Ann). I have such happy memories. Auntie Nellie and Uncle Teddy lived in Slimbridge if I remember correctly. They had a wonderful garden and when we left to go back home would be given lots of fruit and vegetables. Happy days.

I'm just wondering if this Alma lived in Quedgeley in Gloucestershire and was married to Nobby. Daughter of Elizabeth Parsons (Nellie) who lived in Slimbridge. If so she is my mum's cousin. Mum was Vera Mills daughter of May Parsons and Seth Mills. Many happy memories of visiting on route to Bridport. Always had a wonderful garden. RIP Alma
