Catherine DeniseWILLIAMSIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Williams, who passed away peacefully at Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth on the 30th May 2023 from secondary breast cancer, at the age of 72. Denise was a much loved sister to Peter and David. Sister-in-law to Margaret and Sandra. A loving Aunt to Gareth, Elle, John, Klara, Claire, Nicola and Michael. A lovingly remembered great-aunt to Flynn, Sam and Courtney. Denise will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and will be remembered for her positive outlook on life and her honesty, openness and strength of character throughout all the stages of her illness. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 5th July at 1:15pm Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium, CF14 6RG. Dress code: smart casual in colours of your choosing. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to: Marie Curie Hospice, Holme Tower. We have known Denise since childhood,Kerry living close by in Creunant and Margaret as a second cousin. In latter years we would bump into Denise in Cardiff where we now live and regrettably family funerals and there would always be immediate freindship, warmth and a lovely smile. Denise was a lovely lady who will be missed by all who knew her.
Condolences and apologies to Peter and the family, we will sadly be unable to attend the funeral as we have family duties in London.
