Florence MayWILLIAMSFlo passed away peacefully in hospital on June 7, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Johnny. Forever loving mum of Roy, Beryl, Dawn and Viv. Precious Nan to Scott, Olivia, Kristian and Autumn. Loved Nanny Flo to Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Oscar, Felicity, Mason and Hallie. And the loved Melissa and Tom. Loving mother-in-law to Barbara and the late Les. Also Craig – special and loved by ‘Florrie’. Devoted sister to Jean and Billy and late sisters Maggie, Aggie and Doris. Sister-in-law to George and Cathy and lovely nieces and nephews. Much loved lifelong friend of Lily and very special friend of Sylvia. Thank you to all the loving, caring staff at Pennine View. Flo was born in Liverpool and had a very happy childhood with many memorable tales to tell, including being evacuated to Wales during the war. Later Flo met her husband-to-be on Seaforth shore. After their marriage they set up home in Accrington as Johnny had taken a job there. Flo will be missed more than she would ever know. Funeral Service Friday, June 28 2024 at 1pm at Accrington Crematorium. Family Flowers only please.
