I just found this poem mum wrote about Hopptimus:

Hopptimus Is 4 today
So tiny when he came to stay
Maisie chose him from the litter
So fragile, fearful and so quiet
eyes so wide and yet so bright
She held and snuggled him throughout the night

Thank you mum for always being there for me, Maisie and Ian. Us three loved all the times we had together with you. Film nights laughing about 'Eskimo Nell' and the head spinning 'The exorcist.' Peaceful times just you and I at RSVP Burton Mere, driving and singing through Blackpool lights and watching Hoptimus the rabbit jumping high in the sky and then nibbling your red bag! I miss you mum..but I know now that you are free of the back pain that took away some of your independence and I'm sure you will be flying high, pain free and soaring through the skies...completely independent. We Love you so much mum xxxx
