Former Councillor and Chairman of North West Leicestershire District Council, also safety steward for Leicester City Football Club. Derek's funeral service will be held in the East Chapel, Gilroes Crematorium on Thursday 30th January 2020 at 12:00 noon. Followed by a private burial service in Whitwick Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations if so desired are being forwarded to Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham and the RNLI.
