Eddie will be missed by so many. He was such a caring and kind man, who helped so many athletes across the years. His patience and positivity was endless.
To us over the years Eddie became a wonderful friend and he will be greatly missed. We will forever be thankful for the time he gave to us and the impact he had on our lives.
Our deepest sympathies are with his family.

There are so many words that I can say about Eddie, a truly amazing person. Eddie was my athletics coach for many many years, we had a fantastic relationship and he took me very far in to my athletics career which I am truly grateful for. Eddie was a big part of my family and still is. He was a very special person inside and out and his dedication to track and field was his home and a place he loved to be! I will be forever grateful everything Eddie did for me because he was the one who made me the athlete I was! I will miss him so much as will everyone! Lots of love to Eddie’s family at this difficult time! All our love Jessica, Jenny and John Houlton xxxx
