PatriciaWILMOT23rd May 1940 - 3rd September 2026. Pat died peacefully and gracefully, held by Julie, her daughter and with Sarah, her granddaughter by her side. She was 86 years old. Pat was a remarkable woman. A diabetic of 66 years and proud of it. She defied the odds to become a mum and to live past 50. Her resilience and determination knew no bounds. She was always there, steadfast in her support, quiet and with determined loyalty. Her dedication to her family was most important to her. Pat was married to Ray for 59 years and she loved that she bagged the most handsome and clever man in town! He in turn adored her. With Julie they were an inseparable three. And Colin, Sarah and Laura made it six, with countless holidays and adventures. We shall miss her always. Night night, God bless, see you in the morning (again one day). Love you. Julie and Colin invite you to a memorial service and wake on Monday 5th October at noon in the Directors' Boardroom at Pride Park Stadium. There is plenty of parking and lift access. This will be faith based, with happy stories led by the Chaplain of Derby County, Tony Luke, Julie and Colin. Please wear smart and if you feel colourful clothes (Pat loved bright colours).
