Robert WilliamWILSONBob Killingworth In memory of a wonderful and much loved Dad, Father-in-law, Grandad and Great Grandad. Robert was a real man, his own man and never faltered from this, even in the most difficult circumstances. He died as he lived, true to himself. We are so proud of you, Dad God looked around his garden And found an empty place He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never Get well on earth again He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered 'Peace be thine' It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone As part of us went with you The day God called you home We wish we had some time with you To walk among the stars To hold your hand and see your face And ask you how you are We'd tell you how things are for us And how we miss you so Then there'd be that moment when We'd struggle to let you go We'd know that we would have to And wave goodbye and then Wish that heaven allowed visitors So we could see you again The hope that brings us comfort Is the hope that you will meet The love of your life, our mother And together rest in peace We love and miss you both More than words can say Goodnight, sleep tight, God bless you Till we meet again one day Karen, Mark, Robert, Andrew, Leah, Robbie and Georgie
