Peter LancelotWILSONPeter Lancelot Wilson, 79, died peacefully on February 1st, 2022 at home in Spain, surrounded by his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. He was born to Ted and Fay Wilson, on July 8th, 1942, in Bacup, Lancashire. Peter attended Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Blackburn, before graduating from Leeds University in Geography and Economics. At Leeds University, he met Patricia, the love of his life, and in 1964 they married. Peter and Patricia went on to have two children, Antony and Marie, and five grandchildren, Benjamin, Abraham, Dominic, Samuel and Nadine. Peter was known for his love of travel and lived and worked as a school teacher in Ghana, Sierra Leone and New Zealand as well as in the Lake District and Hampshire. Peter and Patricia enjoyed an active and happy retirement in Spain. Peter was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and teacher and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
