The obituary notice of Ian WILSON

One whole year without you Grandad. It really doesn’t feel real that you have actually left us, I know it’s silly but I still expect you to pop round or fix my car when it breaks, or help me when I need you. I will never stop needing you grandad and I will never ever forget about you. I really hope you know how much I love you and there is so much more I wish I had said to you. I hope you know you were the best Grandad I could have ever had and I hope you know how hard we tried with Grandma. She just needed to be back with you. It makes it easier to know that Grandma is happy again to be with you but so much harder than we have lost you both. Today all I can think about is ‘If tomorrow never comes’. Last year when you died, Grandma kept repeating if tomorrow never comes and she said she felt you sending her it and you had said it to her before you died, she never really understood it until she clicked and realised it was the song. I just have so much to tell you and hope I’ve done okay this year without you, I have really struggled Grandad and have really struggled to be myself. I’m going to try and get back to me as I know that is what you would want. I just struggle without your reassurance and knowing that you think what I’m doing is right. I love you to the moon and back always Grandad. Unfortunately Tomorrow never did come, but I hope you knew how much I loved you💔
