MichaelWOOD(Winlaton formerly Dunston) Died at home on Sunday 2nd July 2023, aged 66. Beloved husband of Liz. Adored dad of Peter and Helen. Grandad of Maya. Father-in-law of Emre. Brother of Paul, Jimmy and Kevin. Much loved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and nephew. Requiem Mass at St Anne's, Winlaton on Wednesday 19th July at 12:45pm followed be interment at Garden House Cemetery, Swalwell at 2pm R.I.P. All welcome afterwards to the Winlaton Vulcans Rugby Club. My deepest condolences go out to Liz and family. Michael was intelligent, funny, a great drawer and always ate his way through his shift. Michael was really well liked within the office building.

Liz, it was with great sadness that i learned about your loss of Mick, he will be remembered as such a lovely man, a gentleman. You are often in my thoughts, and more so at this difficult time, my heart goes out to you and all of the family.

Chris and I are so sorry for the loss of your dad Helen and Peter, and the loss of your husband Liz. I remember when we used to come over for sleepovers and watch Michael’s brilliant collection of horror films. It was our favourite thing to do, especially watching our favourite ‘Camp Blood’ which was the worst horror film ever made it made us laugh so much. We’re sending all of our love and prayers to you all in this difficult time. We’re here for you ❤️❤️
