The obituary notice of Barbara WOOD

I will always remember Barbara for her wit and thoughtful nature. Her ability in remembering people and places and her positivity in her outlook for the future. So nice to have been seated next to her at the anniversary lunch we attended in April.
We talked about our time in Liverpool,Old Swan area, and her work in Alder Hey, and myself as a local boy.
Would have loved to have met up on more occasions but in later years it was only on special events.
God bless you Barbara you will remain forever in my thoughts.

Fairytales lie! Barbara, you were the best stepmother I could have wished for & the perfect granny to my girls. Thank you for making Dad so happy for all these years. I miss our chats, your laugh, your wicked sense of humour & of course I will miss our charity shop visits. Most of all I miss you xx

While we were bereft at your sudden passing Barbara we will always remember the happy times and all the fun and laughter we shared. Thank you for your love and kindness over many years. You will be in our thoughts always and will never be forgotten.

It has been our pleasure for so many years Barbara , to call you our Sister in law . You have always made us welcome and over the years even come to understand the Border twang. We are all going to miss you so much , sleep well until we meet again , love Bill , Caroline and family xx
