BarryWOODOf Alvaston, Derby. Passed away peacefully at home on 3rd September 2026, aged 88 years.

A loving husband to the late Mavis, mum to Sharron, Andrew and Rachel. Mother-in-law to Wayne and Emma. Nanna to Tom and the late James.

Barry's funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Thursday 8th October in the Main Chapel at 11am.

Family flowers only please, but a donation in Barry's memory will go to support the work of The Royal British Legion. These may be made at the service, online at rydefunerals.co.uk/donations or be sent c/o Thomas Ryde & Son, Belper.
