William GeraldWOODSBill suddenly passed away on Tuesday 25th January 2022 at The Royal Gwent Hospital aged 83 years. Devoted Husband to Carol. Beloved Brother (in Law), Uncle, Cousin and Man of the Community to Splott, Tremorfa, Adamsdown and Roath through his former shop at Clifton Street 'Cobwoods Ironmongers' A huge figure in the Welsh and Cardiff Rugby Union. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. God Bless Billy. Resting at James Summers, Newport Road CF24 1XP until the Funeral service at St German's Church on Friday the 18th February at 12:00PM followed by committal at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers for Prostate Cymru and Alzheimer's Society Cymru.

It was a pleasure to have know Billy through the Athletic Club and serving on committee with him. I for one will miss him and i know the players will miss his jaffa cakes and winegums. RIP Billy

Thoughts and prayers to Auntie Carol ,family and Friends , Uncle Bill was a larger than life character, he gave us the opportunity to go on family trips ,stopping off at the viaduct, How he manged it was beyond belief ,I will always be thankful for those memories.
Rest in Peace uncle Bill..

Great servant of Cardiff RFC.
We enjoyed many years with Cardiff Youth together. Billy worked so hard . Great friend. Will be greatly missed.
