IreneWOODSIrene Woods of Willow Park, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday 22nd April, aged 80 years. The much loved wife of Tom, and lovely mother of David, Graham, John & Simon along with step-children Jane and Michael. She was also Grandma to many - whom she adored. Irene was a loved sister to the late Margaret & Lillian and of Sally and Jim. She will be remembered affectionately by many nieces and nephews and other members of her family. Well-known by many in the Accrington area, she was formerly a Senior Enrolled Nurse at Calderstones Hospital; she is fondly remembered by many ex-work colleagues. Irene's funeral will take place on Friday 5th May at 11am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, with donations gratefully accepted for East Lancashire Hospice c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.
