ChristopherWOODWARDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris on the 20th April 2023, aged 69 years. Chris passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Chris was the dearly beloved husband of Lynne, much loved Dad to Melissa and Philip, respected loved Father-in-Law to Keith and Leanne, cherished Grandad of Daniel, Jack and Patsy. Loved brother to Gillian, Ann and Gaynor and brother in law to Kenny, Steven & Lynda. Much loved Nephew to George and a friend to many. The celebration of life for Chris will take place on Thursday, 11th May, 2023 at 11am in St Bedes Chapel, followed by a burial in Acklam Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family afterwards at the Bluebell Hotel Pub. The family kindly request guests to dress in a Boro top or wear a splash of Red, White or Blue, as we want all to be comfortable, just as Chris would have liked it. We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful MND team at James Cook Hospital who provided care for Chris. To show our appreciation we are welcoming donations at St Bedes Chapel and the Bluebell Hotel Pub to help raise funds for them. Flowers are welcome. All enquiries to Co op Linthorpe Rd. 01642828301.
