Peacefully at Glan Clwyd Hospital following a short illness and of George Street, Llanrwst, aged 70 years.

Dearly loved husband of Barbara and devoted father to Charlotte. Eddie served on both Llanrwst Town Council and Conwy County Council for many years and held the position of Mayor of Llanrwst 1991/1992. Eddie, alongside his wife Barbara ran the local newsagent on Station Road in the town.

Funeral Monday 11th March 2024. Service at St Grwst Parish Church, Llanrwst at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please but if desired, donations in his memory will be gratefully accepted towards a Llanrwst Project.

Hi Barbara and Charlotte.
Ed was an achiever and will be missed. I and my family send their condolences to yourselves and family.
I particularly remember Ed from the cricket a game he played with great enthusiasm. The two lasting memories of playing with and against Ed was his run up to bowl the “stutter” in his run up was unique and successful.
Secondly on a barmy Llanrwst afternoon when we played Bethesda in a friendly. Bethesda had a professional playing for them a Pakistani or Indian test player. This guy scored a rapid 50 and was set for a huge score. On came Ed and dismissed him the scorebook read caught Hart bowled Woodward. I recall we had a great evening.
