CeliaWRAITH(Whickham) On 7th May 2022, aged 70 years. Celia, much loved mam of Steve and Rob, much loved mother-in-law of Dawn and Wendy, much loved grancey and bobo of Becca, Francesca, Izzy and Gabrielle, also a much loved sister of Susan and Sandra. Celia was much loved by all family and friends. Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 17th May, at 1:45pm. Friends please meet at crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Bede's Palliative Care Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. A donation may be made at the service. Afterwards all welcome back to the Gibside Hotel. Please wear something bright.

I am deeply saddened by Celia’s death. We first met on A.Ward QEH in 1974, where we worked night duty together for 5 years. From the start, we got on really well, sharing the same work ethic, love of reading and wacky sense of humour and have always kept in touch. I can’t believe she has gone. The world is less colourful without her. RIP Celia.💔My sincere condolences to Steve, Rob and their families….she was a special lady.
