TommyWRAY(High Spen, formerly of Gosforth) Suddenly on 7th March, aged 86 years, Tommy. Beloved Husband of Margaret. Dearly loved Dad of Philip, Maria, Lorna and Gillian and a dear Father in law of Shona, Paul and Iain. Also a much loved Grandad of Kyle, Sarah, Rebecca, Charlie, Emily, Jamie, Kirsty and the late Dean and a dearly loved Great Grandad of James and Orla. Tommy will be sadly missed. Cremation at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 1st April at 11:45am. Friends please meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Society. All welcome back to the High Spen Field Club for a celebration of Tommy's life. All enquiries to R W Barrett & Son Funeral Services, 379 West Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE15 7NL. Tel 0191 2410873.

We have so many treasured memories of Uncle Tommy, from long, hot, summer days playing golf, to trying to put up tents on a windy hillside and hanging on for dear life, what a laugh! And my favourite, listening to Uncle Tom and my dad, when they finally gave in to our begging and sang all the old favourites at the end of family parties, they always knew they would…but they enjoyed making an entrance!
