SteveWRIGHTWRIGHT - STEVE, March 23, 2020. Peacefully at home aged 90 years. Dearly loved Husband of Maree. Devoted Dad of Anne and Jayne. Dearly loved Grandad of Mark, Rebecca, Leah, Ben and Thomas, Great Grandad of Jacob and Jude and Son in law Peter and Rebecca's Husband Jay. "He fought to the end, a problem he couldn't solve". Funeral service and cremation at Thornton Crematorium on Friday April 3rd 2020 at 12:40pm. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired for Woodlands Hospice. Due to the current situation, it is requested that only immediate family attend the service at Thornton Crematorium. All further enquiries c/o Graham J Clegg Funeral Services, 7 Dover Road, Maghull. So very sorry to hear that Steve lost his fight, he was such a lovely caring funny man so kind and generous in everything he did. He had a way with words and a twinkle in his eyes always, I was lucky with my girls to have spent time with him over the years and I will cherish the memories. He was one of a kind. To all that worked for British Gas Steve was the best workmate that anyone could have wished for, he was the most genuine, honest and remarkably friendly person that you could have possibly been with. He always had a tale to tell about his own experiences and would refer to himself as the ' BOLD WRIGHTY ' and when he reached the end of his story he would grab you by the arm or leg and laugh. You had to laugh with him because he was so hilarious. His stories will be remembered for ever by many people. He will be forever in our thought's and worthy of constant remembrance. Our thoughts and sympathy are with Maree and family at this difficult time.
