Passed away peacefully on the 3rd October 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family; Gill, aged 83 years, of Bain Road, Boston, beloved Wife of John, Mother of Nick, Suzy, Jane. A much-loved Grandma and Great Grandma and a good friend to many.

A private Cremation will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Zion Methodist Church, Brothertoft Road, Boston; on Friday 8th November, at 1:30 PM. It is the family's wish that mourners wear something colourful at the Service.

No flowers by request please. However, any kind Donations in memory of Gill will be equally divided between the Boston Woods Trust and to assist the employment of a Neighbourhood Worker at Zion Church. Donations may be sent to

She was a great headmistress at Stickney Primary School when I was a student there back in the late 80s and early 90s and a great teacher too and she kept us all going. I'll always remember her. Thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends and may God bless her soul.

It is with sadness that I heard today of Gill's passing, and I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to John and the family. I have known Gill for 49 years and worked with her at Boston Park School when it was in Tunnard Street and also at Stickney CE Primary School. R.I.P Gill.
