I had the privilege of working alongside him on the ASYCUDA project in 2008 and last message I received from him was during covid days. David was not only a highly respected Customs Expert, but also a truly humble and kind human being. His professionalism, patience, and generosity in sharing knowledge enriched everyone who had the opportunity to work with him.

Beyond his technical brilliance, I will remember David for his warmth, integrity, and the genuine respect he showed to colleagues.
