The obituary notice of Karen WRIGLEY

Miss Wrigley was a teacher I remember very well from my time at Honley Junior school, which I left in 2021. My dad would see her regularly during her runs around and about the village, and she’d always let me that she’d seen him. I also remember bumping into her on the bus from town - with my friend who I’ve grown up with through the Honley schools. We sat next to her and had a good natter about life the whole way home. I remember her great humour, laugh and smile very well when I think of her. When I heard of the news of her passing I was devastated as she was a memorable character from my childhood who I’ll never forget. Im sorry to all her family and friends she was a lovely person x

Miss Wrigley was a teacher I’d never forget, I left Honley Junior school in only 2021 however in my years at the school I have lots of very fond memories of Miss Wrigley. My dad frequently bumped into her while she was on her runs and she’d always let me know. She had a great sense of humour and always stopped to chat whenever I bumped into her. I remember me and my friend, who I’ve grown up with in honley saw her on the bus from town and the whole way home we sat next to each other and we had a lovely natter about life. When I heard this news I was devastated as she really was a character from my childhood that has firmly stuck in my memory. x
