Saskia (Saskje)WYLDnée Taconis On Saturday 4 June, Saskia of Sunnyvale Road, Portreath, passed away peacefully at Abbots Leigh Nursing Home, Bristol, aged 97. Much loved wife of the late Allan; cherished sister of Fien and Liba; devoted mum to Julie, Rachel, Tony and Nick; dear mother-in-law to Tim, Simone and Sarah; loving grandmother to Sarah, Jen, Tom, James, David, Rosie, Laura, Alex, Aimée, Demi and Eloise; beloved great-grandmother to Alfie, Edie, Ariana, Elias and Luca, and a special friend to so many. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. The family would like to thank Treliske Hospital, St Austell Community Hospital and Abbots Leigh Nursing Home for looking after her so well. The funeral service will take place at St. Illogan Parish Church on Wednesday 29 June at 11:30am (no requirement to wear black) followed by a private committal at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne. Everyone is welcome to join the family afterwards at the church from 1:30pm for refreshments and to further celebrate Saskia's life. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in memory of Saskia, to The Friends of the Royal Cornwall Hospital, or The League of Friends of St Austell and District Hospitals and Community Nursing Service, either at the funeral service or via the funeral director.
