The world has lost a true Gentleman. Always so pleasant, friendly, helpful and polite.
From day one of us becoming neighbours seven years ago, when he made tea for us and all the removal men, while we waited for keys, he showed what a kind and generous person he was.
We will greatly miss his smiling face and suttle sense of humour.

Fondest memories of Lionel whilst working with him at Royal Mail - a lovely popular guy who was always happy to help his colleagues - I used to love hearing about his musical appearances and it was obvious of his love of music.
He often spoke proudly of his family - RIP Lionel
