The family are sad to announce the passing of Ann Yorke.

Ann passed very peacefully at Ayr Hospital after a short illness. The family would like to express our gratitude to the kind staff at Station 9 who provided excellent care & love during her illness.

Ann ran a successful chiropody business in Ayr for many years, retiring in 2020, and loved gardening in her spare time.

Ann enjoyed chatting to her clients and anyone she met. She was very quick witted and we had many laughs over many years. Ann loved her family and we all loved her very much too.

Ann had a lifetime passion for art enjoying sketching and painting at which she was exceptionally talented.

Ann would then spend many of her latter years as a volunteer at Rozelle assisting the Friends of Maclaurin at many art exhibitions.

Ann was a loving Mum, Gran, Great Gran, sister & friend to many and she will be sorely missed.

It was Ann's wish to have no funeral service, and in lieu of flowers any donations in her memory may be made to Friends of the Maclaurin. Thank you.
