Valerie NickYOUELLYOUELL Valerie, Nick and Family wish to express their thanks to all who have sent cards, letters and flowers. The sympathy contained therein and, more importantly, the tributes to Alf, have brought much solace at a time of great loss. Thanks also to all who attended the Service of Thanksgiving and gave contributions for the upkeep of the church. They thank the Revd. Helen Bell, Mrs S. Giles and Mrs E. Walker and team, who provided an uplifting and musical service with delicious refreshments to follow. Thanks are also due to the doctors and staff at The Green Lane Medical Centre, the Willenhall team of district nurses - who were a tower of strength in the last few days of Alf’s life - and the angels and staff of Crossroads Coventry and Warwickshire for the immense support and care given to Valerie and Alf for nine months. Finally, they thank staff at Henry Isons, Binley Road - especially Liza and Jemma for the service they gave in caring for Alf and fulfilling Valerie’s wishes, at a time when the smallest details was so important to her.
