Peacefully at Holmside Residential Care Home on 19th May 2026, aged 95 years.

Doris, devoted wife of the late Maldwyn (George), much loved mam of Roy & Jayne. Proud grandma of Jon-Paul, Carl, Kim, Joe & Tommy. She was also a dear mother-in-law, great grandma, sister, auntie and will be greatly missed by all her family & friends.

Please meet for funeral service at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Friday 5th June at 2:30pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to be collected for The Alzheimer's Society.

Following the service, all welcome to The Laird's House, Bedlington for refreshments.

Doris was a huge part of the community and was well known for her contributions to the local Women's Institute and as secretary of the Wansbeck-Schalksmuhle Friendship Society.

A lovely lady who lived life to the full with a great sense of fun and a warm and generous heart. We are so pleased to have known Maldwyn and Doris - a great team!
