Steven JamesYOUNGSSadly passed away on Sunday 4th December 2022 aged 46 years. Steven was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply and sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. Steven's funeral service will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Thursday 5th January, at 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, for The Dogs Trust will be kindly accepted on the day. The donations at the Crematorium (£240) and various online donations (£90) to the Dogs Trust amounted to £330. With gift aid it amounts to £412.50. I have sent the £240 from the Crematorium directly to the Dogs Trust website just now.

I was in Steven Young's class at Holywell School. He was the most beautiful boy I had ever seen! The first Valentine's card I ever sent went to Steven. I even remember drawing a football flag in the card to impress Steven (even though I didn't sign the card!!) I believe it was a Spurs flag! Steven was a handsome happy confident kid. He made my school days better! I was so saddened to hear of this news. No doubt he will be loved eternally. My thoughts are with Steven's family. Stephen was an incredible tennis player, when I used to play at Charnwood tennis club with him I have never seen anyone hit the ball so hard and get it in the court! He also made me laugh so so much, a fun character. My best wishes go to his family.
