ElizabethHIRST(Nèe Jewers) (Betty) (Gateshead) Peacefully in Philips Court Care Home on 15th July 2024. Aged 97 years.
Elizabeth (Betty), beloved wife to the late Andy, devoted mother to Marie, Robert, Ian, Barry and the late Bill, much loved Mother-In-Law to Bernadette, Jan and the late Isabel, treasured grandmother to Kay, Roy, Peter, Gary, Nicola, Melissa and the late Noel, special great grandmother to Sinead, Dean, Ray, Sean, Brogan, Billy, Xander, Emily, Jack, Sam, Abi, Jamie-Andrew, Ruby, Yasmin, Philip and Wyatt. Betty was also a much-loved grandmother-in-law and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends please meet for Betty's service on Friday 2nd August at St Joseph's RC Church, High Street West, Gateshead at 11:30am followed by interment at The West Road Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds going to Philips Court Care Home. A donation box will be available at Church.
