DavidNEWTONThe family of Dave Newton would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of condolence, cards and flowers after the sudden and unexpected death of a truly well loved man. Special mentions to all the staff at Huddersfield Funeral Home for their kindness, compassion and professionalism over the past few weeks, to Roger Payne the celebrant who conducted the service so warmly, to Clare for the lovely flower arrangement, to the Newsome Panthers Rugby League family for their magnificent guard of honour and numerous tributes, the staff at the Fountain and Karen and Gina who put on the buffet afterwards and Liam and Jonny for the order of service booklet and lastly to Carmel and the Paramedics team who fought so hard to try and save Dave. A huge comfort to all the family was the big turnout at the Crematorium from the wider Rugby League community, neighbours and friends new and old. The mark of a man who was so well remembered was the collection in his name of £1000 donated to the MNDA, a truly magnificent tribute.
