Passed away on 10th April 2026 Aged 70 Years.

A much loved Husband to Jo. A much loved Dad to Samantha and Michael and a much loved and Special Grandad to Oskar and Oakley.

Funeral service at St John's Church, Burwardsley on Friday 1st May 2026 at 11 am followed by Interment in the churchyard.

Family flowers only, please.

Any kind donations in memory of Alan will be divided between Cancer Research UK and St John's Church, Burwardsley. Please use the donation box provided at the service or online at e.j.edgerton.co.uk

It is with sadness I have been informed of Alans passing.
I am unable to attend friday due to my current health problems. I have and will keep and treasure many memories over 35 years at the council.
From our time as mechanics at Milton Green to our time in supervisory roles at Winford. And outside work the five a sides on summer evenings at Burwardsley.
My condolances to Jo and family.
