Martin, what a top bloke. When we first met I knew we`d get on- we shared a love for Stoke City, the same views about our country, and above all a love for our families. I loved looking forward to our chats on Monday on St Giles` playground about Stoke`s performance the previous Saturday, and on Thursday where we would just "chew the fat" over many things whilst we waited to pick up our grandchildren, along with the other members of the Stokie Grandads Group. We always drew looks from others on the playground mainly because of the raucous laughs that would emanate from our circle- if only they knew what the topic of the conversations were!! You always made time to speak to my wife and daughter when you saw them and that meant a lot to me and them! We`ll miss you mate, things won`t be the same. God Bless xxx
