FaulksJOHN BLACKBURNPassed away peacefully at home after a short, sudden illness, aged 82 years. Loving father to Claire and Nicola, father in law to Neil, beloved partner to Carolyn and a doting grandfather to his four grandchildren. Funeral service will take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Monday 17th February 2020 at 10:30am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be made to Springhill Hospice.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news. John and I knew one another very well when we were in our late teens, early twenties, before our lives went in very different directions.However, I never really forgot him.
I am now in Canada and coincidentally have 2 daughters named Nicola and Carolyn.
Once again, my sincere sympathies to the family and friends.

Sorry to hear that JB has passed; you were a good mate of my Dad, Roland, at Norden CC then much later I myself appreciated all you did at the Dale in the dark times. I loved your dry humour too, blessings ol lad, RIP, Stephen Thorpe.
