Edward James NicholsonCOLLYERJim of Mickleover, Derby, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at QMC Nottingham Hospital on 10th August 2026, aged 88 years. A much-loved dad to Louise, Sally, Melanie and Helen, and a cherished grandad to his ten grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
A private cremation will take place for close family members prior to the Church service.
A Service of Thanksgiving will then be held at St John the Evangelist Church, Mickleover, on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 2.00pm, where family and friends will have the opportunity to come together to remember and celebrate their life.
Jim has expressed his wishes for this to be a celebration of his life and has asked that no dark clothing is to be worn.
