Peacefully at home on 12th May, aged 81 years, Joan (nee Sowerby), much loved wife of the late Raymond, dear mam of Susan and Margaret, beloved sister of Peter, Richard, Margaret and her husband Thomas and the late Mary, Ann and Brenda, adored shen to Ben and Jill, a dearly loved auntie to all her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all her friends and extended family. Friends please meet for service at the West Road Crematorium on Thursday 28th May at 12.45pm. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to St. Oswald's Hospice. Afterwards all welcome back to the Benwell Hill Cricket Club.
