Alma And NoelFLETCHERIt is with great sadness to announce that Alma died peacefully, aged 89 years at the Chestnuts Care Home on Thursday 1st February. She was followed shortly afterwards by her beloved husband Noel who died aged 91 years, at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital on Monday 5th February.
Their son Andrew and daughter Julie are comforted by the knowledge their much loved parents will rest together after almost 70 years of devoted marriage and companionship. They will be sadly missed by grandchildren Angus, Kimberley, Oscar and Yzzy. Alma and Noel will be reunited with Alma's late sisters Olga and Ev and her late brother Jack. Just as they were in life, when they returned to Cleethorpes following Noel's retirement in 1989.
A service will be held at Grimsby Crematorium, on Monday 26th February at 2.15pm.
