Dr Elizabeth Anne (Cbe)BRAIDWOODSuddenly at home in Dumbarton on 27 November 2024, Anne, darling daughter of Dugald and Betty Braidwood, a loved and loving sister to Robin, sister in law to Helen, aunt to Peter, Katie, Charlotte and Matthew, great aunt to Ruby, Amber, Brodie and Louisa, a respected Colleague and a friend to many.

After a private cremation a service of Thanksgiving for Anne's life will be held at Dumbarton Parish Church (formerly Riverside Parish Church), High St, Dumbarton G82 1NB on Saturday 14 December 2024 at 11.15am. Black funeral attire is not necessary.

Family flowers only please and a retiring collection will be taken for CHAS (SC 019724). For further information please contact

Anne was Head Girl at Dumbarton Academy. We were in her year and knew her to be kind, funny and keen to do her best in all she did. She touched many lives including ours.

I was very sorry to hear of Anne's passing. She was a lifelong friend, and an excellent Physician. Her outstanding academic and professional skills were enhanced by her energy, common sense , loyalty, compassion, and sense of humour.
She loved talking about her nieces and nephews, and their families.
My condolences to Robin and his family.
