MarjorieCROSSPassed away peacefully in Little Oldway Residential Home on 10th December aged 87 years after a short illness. Devoted wife of Peter, loving mother to Sean & Sarah, cherished Grandmother of Cameron & Ryan. Her kindness will forever be remembered. She was born in Ascot, second youngest of seven, and lived a full and happy life with family and friends in Berkshire, New Zealand and Paignton. She left school at 15 to work at the local telephone exchange. Long time British Gas stalwart in Exeter and Torbay, and latterly a volunteer for Age UK, Citizens Advice and the local British Gas Retirement Group. An enthusiastic circle dancer and tea maker. Her funeral service will be held at Dartmouth Road Chapel on Thursday 30th December 2021 at 11am. Donations in loving memory of Enid are greatly welcomed for Age UK.
