Shocked to hear of the sad passing of a really good friend, going back to the late 1970s at Aberystwyth. I thought the world of John and shared with him an interest in cryptic crosswords and photography, and even subsequently developed fondness of teddy bears - but that's another story. Suffice to say that Ursula, Arthur and Orson decorate the front hall of my house here in Cardiff. I'm now going to add a photo he took of my cat Mitzi (1965-1980) back in the summer of 1978.
