IreneMCKIE(née Kearney) Peacefully on Saturday 25th October 2025 in the Alexandra Unit of the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary after a short but courageous battle against Cancer, Irene McKie, of Bennan Court and formerly Waverley Road, sadly passed away.

Beloved soulmate and Partner of Andy Kelly, much loved Mother of Kenny, Ainsley & Lisa and Mother in Law of Jill, Tracey & Morad. Adored Nana of Julian, Hannah, Imogen, Theia Rose, Laythan, Quinn & Hudson, Great Nana to Paige, dog mum to Lola and a friend to many, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her across Dumfries and further afield.

A service to celebrate Irene's life will take place at The Crichton Memorial Church on Tuesday 11th November at 12 noon, followed thereafter by an interment at St Michael's Cemetery, to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Flowers welcome. Donations, if desired, may be given at the service in aid of The Marie Curie Nurses, The Alexandra Unit and Crossbasket House, Glasgow.
